Chef Mimmo Alboumeh has an obsession with quality, an obsession that manifests itself in every single dish served at MAYA Steaks and Seafood. We try not use hyperbole too much, but we the find ourselves at a loss for words when we encounter a steak like the ones served at MAYA, steaks that are so tender they can be cut with a spoon. So we’ll have to call MAYA what it is: quite simply, the best. Named after Mimmo’s youngest daughter, the restaurant has a comfortable yet upscale vibe, inviting us in for a meal we’ll never forget.

The secret to the steaks is in the way the cattle are treated - to say these bovine beauties are humanely raised is an understatement. Braveheart Black Angus Beef, served at MAYA, is known for having the highest grading plants in the U.S., with most of the cattle grading Prime and Choice. (Those are the highest grades beef can get, folks.) They support smaller farm operations so they can make sure every cow is getting the same care, attention and nurturing. Every step of raising the cattle has one thing in mind: producing the most tender, meaty and perfectly marbled piece of beef that’s ever been served to curious cattle connoisseurs. They’re all raised in the U.S. and fed an exclusively vegetarian diet prescribed by a master dietitian, providing a scientifically proven mix of vitamins and nutrients to produce the desired texture and taste. Even harvesting and processing the beef is done in a way that doesn't stress the cow out; a tense cow produces tough beef, so these cows are basically in a zen state until they end up on our plates. They’re pampered, taken care of, and we're pretty sure they get a pep talk every day from the ranchers who raise them. And the result of all this babying? A filet so tender it can be cut with a spoon. This is not an exaggeration: we saw it with our own eyes.

So let’s talk about the seafood part of MAYA Steaks and Seafood. To start the meal, reach for the crab cocktail, with huge lumps of crab meat over shrimp with creamy, tangy, slightly sweet and bright lemony salsa rosa. Wait-let’s go back to the beef for a second. Have we mentioned that we didn’t even need a fork to eat the the beef carpaccio? It’s completely scoopable- just use the crostini to gather a mouthful of thinly sliced beef, capers, white truffle cream and manchego. The Chilean sea bass is seared to golden crispy perfection on the outside, and tender and flaky on the inside, with a rich flavor that melts in your mouth. It’s served with decadent lobster sauce and sauteed spinach, perfectly cooked to retain the firmness of the leaves. On the side, we're dying for the white truffle mac and cheese, with a slight crust on top and creamy bechamel with perfectly al dente pasta. Last but definitely not least, sip on a glass of wine or craft cocktail to compliment your steak or seafood- Mimmo has curated a list of 40 wines available by the glass, so choose wisely. And we don't have to remind you of his obsession again do we? Whether you're looking for a crisp white to compliment the sea bass, a full bodied red to bring out the flavors of your filet, or a specially crafted classic cocktail, the staff at Maya are unendingly patient and full of helpful suggestions.

    By placing an order for a given Deal, you make an offer to purchase the Deal you have selected on the terms, restrictions and conditions associated with the Deal. Once you’ve placed your order, you will receive a confirmation of the Deal and your Reservation. Your credit card will be charged for the amount of the Deal. We will notify you by email when the Deal is to be used.

  2. Expiration Dates

    If applicable, the expiration date for a Deal and Reservation is noted on your confirmation and receipt.

  3. Deal Specific Terms

    Each Deal has specific terms associated with the Deal, which will be presented to you at the time you commit to purchase the particular Deal. Deal specific terms supersede any inconsistent terms in this Agreement, except to the extent such terms are prohibited by applicable law.

  4. General Terms

    Unless otherwise stated in the Deal or required by law, the following additional terms apply to all Vouchers:

    • no cash value for any Deal,
    • no cash back will be issued for partial redemption of the paid portion of a Voucher, except as required by law,
