It's the return of patio weather and Bellwoods Social House is the perfect perch for the season. We’re settling in and whiling away the days with a local craft beer and the Cuban sandwich—if anyone needs us, you know where to look.

Scout Notes

Any long time Atlantan remembers a time when there wasn’t much going on in the Westside. Sure, there was Georgia Tech, a coffee shop, maybe? And miles upon miles of industrial spaces in various states of disrepair. Now, thanks to that go get ‘em attitude of our fair city, those former industrial and warehouse properties have been transformed into lofts, galleries, theaters, shops, and restaurants, many of them still featuring the old factory feel of the original inhabitants. This is where Bellwoods Social House comes in- Marietta St. Artery’s old-timey moniker was Bellwood, and there's still a quarry with the same name (some might recognize it from a few scenes in the Hunger Games.) Located in the Brickworks development, the decor is a nod to the industrial origins, with a hip, comfortable and inviting vibe. With a marble bar top, subway tile, stacks of firewood, and a massive collection of antique airplane liquor bottles from around the world, the space beckons us to grab a local brew or crafted cocktail and settle in. And now you can get a taste of Atlanta history mixed with modern cuisine with this dinner for two.

Chef and owner Leif Johnson started his culinary journey in a California winery, and now Atlanta gets to taste his creations: first at Bite Bar & Bistro in Alpharetta, and now at his most recent venture on the Westside. He collaborated with Chef de Cuisine Mariela Pacheco to create a menu of New American gastropub fare that’s best when enjoyed al fresco. And thank goodness for that, because cooler weather is on its way and the patio is our official hangout for the duration.

The menu changes seasonally, but the Chicken BLT and Cuban sandwich are year-round favorites. Speaking of faves, we die for the Animal Style Burger, Leif’s nod to the In-N-Out classic (perhaps very telling of his Californian roots?) Two brisket, short rib, and chuck patties, “krussian” dressing, bacon, caramelized onion, and American cheese guarantee you're going to need extra napkins. And to complete your plate of decadence, go ahead and get an order of their Mega Tots, served “Cholo-style” and stuffed with habanero jack, jalapenos and cheddar cream cheese. For the lighter side, we couldn’t go wrong with the Peach & Blue salad, featuring, you guessed it, Georgia peaches and bleu cheese, along with grilled chicken, spiced pecans, and honey dijon vinaigrette. And the southern staple of shrimp & grits? They’ve added some shizzazzle with the addition of chicken and a spicy chipotle sauce. It’s patio season in ATL, so you’ll know where to find us.

Conditional Use of Our Site and Services

Your permission to use Scoutmob is conditioned upon your agreement that you:

Terms of Sale

  1. How It Works

    By placing an order for a given Deal, you make an offer to purchase the Deal you have selected on the terms, restrictions and conditions associated with the Deal. Once you’ve placed your order, you will receive a confirmation of the Deal and your Reservation. Your credit card will be charged for the amount of the Deal. We will notify you by email when the Deal is to be used.

  2. Expiration Dates

    If applicable, the expiration date for a Deal and Reservation is noted on your confirmation and receipt.

  3. Deal Specific Terms

    Each Deal has specific terms associated with the Deal, which will be presented to you at the time you commit to purchase the particular Deal. Deal specific terms supersede any inconsistent terms in this Agreement, except to the extent such terms are prohibited by applicable law.

  4. General Terms

    Unless otherwise stated in the Deal or required by law, the following additional terms apply to all Vouchers:

    • no cash value for any Deal,
    • no cash back will be issued for partial redemption of the paid portion of a Voucher, except as required by law,
    • Deals cannot be combined with any other coupons or promotions unless otherwise noted in the Reservation,
    • Deals cannot be used for taxes, tips, prior balances, shipping or handling, as applicable,
    • neither Scoutmob nor the Merchant is responsible for lost or stolen Deals or Deal reference numbers,
    • duplicate use, sale or trade of a Deals is prohibited, except as required by law,

  5. Promotions of Deals and Hand-Picked Deals

    From time to time we may offer special promotions, contests and/or sweepstakes intended to provide you an incentive to purchase Deals or to encourage you to get others to do so. The applicable rules will be posted on the Site in or near the description of each such promotion. We reserve the right to interpret these rules in our sole discretion, and you hereby agree to our interpretation.

  6. Products Available for Sale

    You understand that some or all products or services provided on the Site may not be available for purchase to persons residing in certain jurisdictions or geographic areas.
